The event is open for anyone, it's

Higher Education, and hopefully you will leave the day smiling and feeling motivated. You will also
learn about easy to use tools and methods that you can apply in your teaching & learning practice.

University of Leeds, Myles Blaney from Edinburgh University, Chris Dixon from Lancaster University
amongst others.

10.15-11.15 Keynote session "Chatbots, really?"
The keynote session is hosted by Edubots partner, Andri Ioannou from CYENS (Cyprus), where she will
facilitate a conversation with Prof. Wegerif from Cambridge University (UK), and Senior Researcher
Asbjørn Følstad from SINTEF (Norway). They will share their thoughts and vision for the future role
of chatbots in education.
Prof.
Wegerif leads the new initiative DEFI
"Digital Education Futures Initiative" and his work focus on the role of dialogue
and technology in learning. Asbjørn Følstad is a leading researcher in the area of Human-Computer
Interaction, currently involved in a multi-year project called "Chatbots4Loyalty". We hope
this will be an inspiring and thought-provoking start of the conference.
